Vision Statement
My personal vision of leadership and myself has grown exponentially, evolving from a description/list of traits I possess to who I strive to be. I now view myself as someone focused on transcendence, focused on outcomes, and focused on learning. Transcendence of those I lead and for myself. Transcendence has always been paramount to who I am, without even knowing it.

Others, whether it be friends, family, coworkers, or even direct reports are key to who I am. I am a collaborative person who gets energy from interactions and dialogues with others. I found early on in my career that I was dedicated to developing and leading others but spent little time on developing myself. The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership Program at Gonzaga has helped to fill that void and realize that I have missed working on the betterment of myself.

Continual learning has challenged me to better myself, not only as a person, but as a leader and human as well. I have a thirst for knowledge, learning, bettering myself and sharing that knowledge with others. I used to call this process improvement, but now I see it as transcendence or transformational leadership. My goal as a human and leader is helping others become their best self.
My personal vision is to help, serve, and transform others, all while continually transforming myself. To be honest, to be open, to listen and to care. My vision for leadership is not just about achieving results but is about transforming myself and others.
